Image pick Adobe Air Native Extension lets you choose an image or video from your phone sdcard so you can use the selected file in your app. on iOS, you can only select an image but on the Android side, you are the one who choose what type of file you wish to select.
NOTE: if you are using our Rich Webview extension, you can use the built-in file selector in that ANE which is accessible from inside the JavaScript code. So you won’t need this ANE. Read the documentation and check out the sample files for the Rich Webview ANE to learn more about it. On the other hand, the purpose of this ANE is to let you select files in your Adobe Air app without using the Webview ANE.
